ACTIVITIES

ADULT SUNDAY BIBLE STUDY

The more familiar you are with the Holy Bible the more aware you will be of God's continuing activity in the world and your life.  The stories and events in the Bible are also pare of our common Christian heritage and serve as the glue that bonds Christians together and helps us through difficult times. Never pass up an opportunity to study the Bible.  Each Sunday at 10:00 am. we have an Adult Bible Study in our Fellowship Hall.  This forty minutes of fellowship immediately prior to Sunday services is an open and lively discussion of a scripture and its meaning to today's world. Please join us Sunday morning for a cup of coffee and meaningful reflection  -- and then stay for the regular Sunday Service.

MONTHLY FELLOWSHIP DINNER & SPECIAL PROGRAM

The third Wednesday of each month finds our members hosting an evening pot luck dinner followed by a Christian program led by our pastor, Rev. Chaz Blasdell or special movie.  You do not have to be a member to join --all are invited.  We look forward to welcoming you on the third Wednesday evening at 5:30 pm.

MILDEN CHOIR

"Make a joyful noise unto the Lord"  by joining the Milden Choir. New voices are always welcome.  To join, simply contact our Choir Director, Kathleen Beane, at 804.472.2647  or  kathleen@fidlernet.com.

WORSHIP ALONG THE RAPPAHANNOCKhttp://fc06.deviantart.net/fs70/i/2013/162/0/0/fireworks_background_by_ioana24-d68m74f.png

We are blessed to have our church situated on the beautiful Rappahannock River and every year we make it a point to hold at least one of our Sunday services outdoors on the banks of the river.  The service on the Sunday of the 4th of July weekend will always be an outdoor service and all are both welcome and encouraged to attend.  This is an informal dress service and while it is not necessary for you to bring your own chair, it is recommended.
